Dear Customer,
I am pleased to announce our Rainham branch manager Gerry Delacy is hanging up his boots and taking early retirement on the 14th May 2021.
Gerry has worked at F.H. Brundle for 22 years and in that time has overseen a huge transformation in our London branch, including overseeing a big move in 2007 from Stratford to Rainham, when we had to relocate for the London Olympics.
He joined as sales manager in 1999 when F.H. Brundle London had a sales team of just 6 people and 7 transit vans. We now have an awesome sales team of 17 and a great team of drivers out delivering in our 20 vehicles.
I am incredibly indebted to Gerry, not only is he a lovely person to work with but he has tirelessly managed Rainham for all those years. He has always worked diligently at keeping the branch operating, evolving and growing to where it is today.
He is retiring at the top of his game, leaving the branch operating smoothly and efficiently and with a strong team in place.
Gerry has always gone above and beyond to keep our customers happy. His efforts have never gone unnoticed either by myself or my father before me.
Personally, I will really miss working with him and having his support, but I am also so incredibly pleased for him. It is so nice that he is able to retire early and pursue his many hobbies.
On the 29th March, Simon Burgess joined us as new branch manager. Simon has over 30 years’ experience gained in builders merchants working in a variety of roles including branch manager and regional director. We welcome him to F.H. Brundle and wish him well in his new role.
Best wishes,
Michael Brundle
